I decided to use this assignment as a dedication to 9/11. I found a great video on You Tube by Joe Carmello to use for my powerpoint. I also decided to post it via screencast.com and Google presentation This particular assignment was actually a lot harder than the previous ones, and it took a long time for me to finish it. This project was very creative and a pain in the neck at the same time. I started off by making a power-point presentation, and then switched it over to google. I also used Jing because i wanted more people to be able to see it. I give full credit to Joe Carmello for his great remembrance. I truly believe that this perpetuated my abilities to produce a technologically advanced lesson, that allowed me to pull material from youtube.

Jing screencast
I made a screen-cast video on how to log on to JSTOR from the FSU library page. JSTOR is a vast database that contains numerous scholarly journals. I have used this website for many years and it has always been a site to gain valid information. The link below will take you my video, it is not long and if you do not know how to use the databases at FSU, it can be very valuable to your academic career. This project indisputably helped my own creative abilities because it gives me the power to walk students through a demonstration repetitively when needed. Through using this digital tool, I have expanded on not only my own knowledge, but also the means of how to deliver certain content information to my students. This was a great undertaking, lots of fun if anyone wants to try it. As always thank you for your time.

Jeopardy
I made my Jeopardy game lesson on the Civil War. I find that with all the generals and battles involved this is a great area for a game to help the students remember who goes where. As far as the setup for this activity, I thought that it was great and easy to follow. I had a lot of fun trying to make the questions, because I kept putting the information in the wrong slots and I would have to change it around. As far as the teaching standards apply, I thought that this exercise applied to many areas for me. I was able to engage in personal growth by learning a new skill, which has been the case for much of the semester already. In addition, I believe that it drove home the second standard of designing digital aged learning experiences. It also incorporates a different learning tool that is not as boring as just reading the text so it gets the students involved. I have provided my link below if you want to go and check it out for yourself. As always thanks for logging on to the blog.

Cloud Image
I decided to use M.L.K.'s I Have a Dream Speech. I thought that Wordle made this assignment very simple and actually really cool. I played with the amount of words allowed and got some pretty awesome results. However, I just decided to use 150 word. Anyway great site the links posted below.
